Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York City is one of my all-time favorite places to escape the pressures of city life. I’m awed by the amount of effort and intention that goes into the perfectly manicured lawns and carefully crafted scenes. After an hour of insane thunderstorms, this Zen garden became absolutely electric and the color intensity of the cherry blossoms, maple leaves and grass went into an entirely new level. I’ll never forget that moment and the privilege of being there to witness it.
