Natural Bridges
Natural Bridges is one of the most magical places I have ever seen. I love the way the forest meets the ocean and evergreen trees decorate the hundreds of islands scattered across hundreds of miles of rocky Oregon coastline. This particular stretch of the Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor caught my eye with its bright blue water passing under iconic natural land bridges to a secret beach cove. Hiking in the dark, I waited with nervous anticipation to see how the scene would unfold. I watched with amazement as the sun came up and lit up the entire horizon with incredible tones of yellow and orange – providing an amazing contrast to the cool tones of aqua blue water and bright green moss-covered rocks and trees on the shoreline below.
